Abstract
Synovial sarcoma is a highly specific and uncommon form of malignant tumor that arises in the somatic soft parts of body. It occurs most frequently in the extremities in the vicinity of joints, bursae and tendon sheaths. However, there are a few case reports of this tumor arising from the bone. We have experienced I case of the tumor from the inferior angle of the right scapula. Microscopically this showed the presence of two neoplastic cellular elements, the fibrosarcomatous spindle cell and the pseudo-epithelial cell. Radical local resection of the right scapula was performed.
